The WWE taped their weekly "WWE Smackdown" and "WWE Main Event" shows on Jan. 7 and The New Age Outlaws made their second appearance of the week. Here are the "WWE Smackdown" spoilers for this week's big show.

The WWE taped "WWE Main Event" first and The Miz served as the color commentator. The show opened with The Real Americans rebounding from their "WWE Monday Night Raw" loss with a nice win over R-Truth and Xavier Woods.

Alberto Del Rio was out next and his new push continued as he beat Justin Gabriel and then cut another promo about him targeting Batista in the Royal Rumble match.

The world tag team champions, Cody Rhodes and Goldust, beat 3MB in the next match and Diva's champion AJ Lee picked up a win over her former nemesis Kaitlyn.

After that, "WWE Smackdown" kicked off. The show opened with The Wyatt Family taking on The Usos. After the match, the lights went out and Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt attacked The Usos for the beat down.

Miz TV was next and the guest was The Big Show to talk about him manhandling Brock Lesnar on "WWE Monday Night Raw." Paul Heyman came out and called Lesnar the ultimate fighter. Big Show challenged Lesnar to a match at "The Royal Rumble" and Heyman accepted the challenge.

In an eight-man tag team match, Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio and Los Matadores best The Real Americans, Ryback and Curtis Axel.

A huge match took place next between WWE World Champion Randy Orton and Intercontinental Champion Big E Langston. Orton actually picked up the win in a back-and-forth match with the RKO.

Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt cut a heel promo and challenged The Usos for a match on "WWE Monday Night Raw."

Xavier Woods picked up a quick win over Fandango.

Before the main event of "WWE Smackdown," The Shield cut a promo where Roman Reigns called himself the new Best in the World, Dean Ambrose complained about nightmares after Jake "The Snake" Roberts put his snake on him, and Seth Rollins says they are the future.

In the main event, The Shield beat CM Punk and The New Age Outlaws when Reigns pinned Billy Gunn.

"WWE Main Event" airs on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. EST on Ion and "WWE Smackdown" airs on Friday night at 8 p.m. on SyFy.
