WWE Smackdown spoilers for this Friday (2-3)

WWE taped this week’s edition of Smackdown last night in Omaha, Nebraska. The show will air this Friday on SyFy. Thanks to PW Insider.com for help with the results.

-Smackdown GM Teddy Long announces that at Elimination Chamber, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan vs. Wade Barrett vs., Big Show vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Mark Henry vs. Randy Orton will be the SD main event. Henry comes out and demands a one on one match with Bryan instead and then ends up grabbing Long. Long then suspends Henry indefinitely causing Henry to go over after Long until Sheamus makes the save.

-Sheamus defeats Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes in a non-title match.

-Hunico vs. Justin Gabriel goes to a no contest when Cody Rhodes (who was still ringside from the prior match) attacks Gabriel. Hunico, Camacho and Rhodes beat down Gabriel until The Great Khali makes the save

-Backstage, Santino Marella tries to tag up with Hacksaw Jim Duggan while Drew McIntyre asks Teddy Long not to fire him.

-Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo defeat Santino Marella and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.

-World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan comes to the ring and cuts a promo. Big Show then comes to the ring and hits a chokeslam on Bryan. He goes to do it again but AJ runs out and pleads with Show not to.

-Brodus Clay defeats Heath Slater. After the match, Drew McIntyre tries to attack Clay but is out by Clay instead.

-Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and Natalya defeat Tamina and Aksana.

-An announcement is made that The Great Khali will take Mark Henry’s spot in the Elimination Chamber match due to Henry’s suspension.

-Randy Orton defeats Wade Barrett. After the match, Teddy Long announces Daniel Bryan will face Orton next week on SD.
