The WWE taped their weekly "WWE Smackdown" television show for this week on Dec. 18 from San Antonio. Here is a look at the "WWE Smackdown" spoilers and results from the television taping.

There was one dark match before the TV taping began and The Usos beat Ryback and Curtis Axel in a tag team match.

"WWE Smackdown" opens with Randy Orton coming out to the ring and whined about having to face Daniel Bryan the night after winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. John Cena interrupted him and basically called him a coward. Daniel Bryan came out and said Orton was scared of him.

The Shield came down and attacked Cena and Bryan until CM Punk ran out for the save. Vickie Guerrero set up a six man match for later in the show.

Big E Langston beat Jack Swagger in a quick match to start the wrestling part of the show. Brie Bella followed that up by beating Tamina Snuka. Sin Cara beat Drew McIntyre in the next match.

In the continued heel turn for Brodus Clay, he lost to his former Tons of Funk partner Tensai in a singles match. The Funkadactyls and Xavier Woods caused a distraction and Woods helped Tensai clear the ring after the win.

In a non-title match, The Wyatt Family beat Goldust and Cody Rhodes. The Wyatt Family tried to attack the champs after the win, but Daniel Bryan saved them. Vickie came out and set up a six man here as well. The good guys won when Bryan picked up the pin.

Damien Sandow beat The Miz in the next match. Sandow was running down Christmas when The Miz came out as a face again. Up next, Fandango beat Kofi Kingston and it looks like they are really pushing Fandango again.

Backstage, The Wyatt Family attacked and took out Daniel Bryan.

As a result, the main event is a handicap match with John Cena and CM Punk taking on The Shield. Cena and Punk won by DQ when The Shield would not stop beating down Punk. Roman Reigns then speared Cena and then they triple power bombed Punk. IC champion Big E Langston ran in to clear the ring.
