'WWE Smackdown' spoilers and results: Ryback vs. Mark Henry

The WWE pre-taped their weekly "WWE Smackdown" television show on March 12 and the main event saw the Mark Henry vs. Ryback match that the two have been teasing over the last two weeks. Here is a look at what went down at the "Smackdown" tapings.

The show opened with a match pitting the new tag team of Sheamus and Randy Orton against Team Rhodes Scholars. It looks like the breakup of the team is officially over with, as neither man seemed to move forward in single's pushes. Sheamus and Orton won the match and then The Shield came out and challenged them to a match at Wrestlemania and asked them to find a partner.

The Miz beat Darren Young in the next match while Wade Barrett did commentary.

Big Show approached Sheamus and Orton and asked to be their partner at Wrestlemania, but they said they already asked Ryback and he said he would.

Kaitlyn and Layla beat Aksana and Tamina in a Diva's match. Backstage, the returning Bella Twins attacked the Funkadactals backstage.

Dolph Ziggler beat Kane while Daniel Bryan and Big E Langston got into a fight at ringside.

Booker T makes the six-man Wrestlemania match official but then The Shield attacks Orton and Sheamus. Before the match between Ryback and Mark Henry, The Shield attacks Ryback and hit the triple powerbomb on him. After they finished, Mark Henry came down and hit three World's Strongest Slams on Ryback.

Finally, in the main event Jack Swagger took on Chris Jericho and actually defeated Jericho to remain strong in his continued push to Wrestlemania.

"WWE Smackdown" airs at 8 p.m. EST on Friday nights on SyFy.
