WWE is set to bring another live Smackdown broadcast to SyFy on Febuary 21st from Rockford,IL. Smackdown had a live broadcast last year as a 'holiday special', at the time their was rumblings of the show moving from it's regular Friday night show to Tuesday as a live show. Smackdown is taped on Tuesdays and airs on SyFy on Friday nights at 7pm C/8pm E.

Smackdown has recenly seen a growth in ratings with new World Champion Daniel Bryan changing to a heel and the Big Show chasing him for the title. The ratings increase is also odd considering that main event star Randy Orton was missing from Smackdown with an injury for a month. Orton returned to the 'Blue Brand' the week of Royal Rumble. Sheamus who won the 2012 Royal Rumble match on January 29th, is also a part of the SD roster. So there is really a lot going on right now with Friday Night Smackdown.
