Triple H opened the show and talked about everyone blaming him because they don't realize their shortcomings. The Miz came out and challenged Triple H's thoughts and was booked in a main event match with Randy Orton.
The first match was Alberto Del Rio vs. R-Truth. Del Rio won in just over one minute by pin. After the match, Del Rio attacked Truth but Rob Van Dam saved him.
The Real Americans picked up a rare win in the next match when Jack Swagger actually makes Darren Young tap out to the Patriot Lock. In the next match, Bray Wyatt actually wrestled a singles match and beat Zack Ryder.
Dean Ambrose defended his U.S. title against Dolph Ziggler and retained the belt by disqualification. This led to a six-man match, where The Shield beat Ziggler, RVD and Kofi Kingston.
Backstage, Big Show is talking about how miserable he feels. This causes Triple H to come up and completely talk down Big Show. It looks like Big Show wants to hit Triple H, but he tells Show to think of his family.
AJ Lee beat Cameron in the next match. Paul Heyman came out and cut a promo after that, where he announced that Ryback will fight CM Punk at "Battleground."
Santino Marella beat Heath Slater in the next match.
The main event of "WWE Smackdown" saw The Miz wrestling Randy Orton. Like most of his matches lately, Orton was disqualified when he went nuts on Miz. Triple H came out and ordered the match re-started and told Orton to win by pin. Orton won the match.
