WWE Smackdown: Randy Orton vs Christian results

According to a Feb. 7 report from CagesideSeats.com, the results are in from the Feb. 7 episode of the WWE's Friday Night SmackDown from Des Moines, Iowa.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown was taped earlier in the week, but it doesn't air until Friday night on the SyFy channel.

The event opened with a Daniel Bryan promo, and the fast-rising superstar revealed that he didn't want to be the new face of the WWE.

Towards the end of the clip, it was announced that Bryan had been booked to battle Antonio Cesaro later in the evening.

In the first fight of the Friday Night Smackdown card, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns defeated Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston.

The story of the match was the scripted feud brewing between members of The Shield. Ambrose pinned Ziggler for the win, just as Reigns was setting up for a big finish.

The WWE has been teasing a breakup of The Shield for months, and the latest altercation between Ambrose and Reigns signaled that the end is near for the group.

Later on the Friday Night Smackdown card, Sheamus defeated Ryback and Bryan tapped out Cesaro.

Also on the card, AJ Lee finished Brie Bella via submission in a WWE Divas match.

In the Friday Night Smackdown co-main, Bray Wyatt paved his way to the upcoming WWE "Elimination Chamber" pay-per-view event by defeating Goldust.

Following Wyatt's win, The Shield were seen on the big screen, hyping up their upcoming "Elimination Chamber" bout against The Wyatt Family.

Closing out the Friday Night Smackdown show, Randy Orton defeated Christian in a non-title bout.

Orton pushed the action early, before pinning his opponent for the finish.
