According to a Feb. 26 report from CagesideSeats.com, Dolph Ziggler continued his surprising plunge to jobber status with a loss at the hands of Batista during the Feb. 25 WWE Smackdown taping that went down in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Ziggler, 33, was once a fast-rising WWE superstar, but his stock has plummeted for unknown reasons in recent years. His loss to Batista proved that his days as a high-level pro wrestler might be behind him.
In other action on the WWE Smackdown card in Milwaukee, Big E and Mark Henry were defeated by The Real Americans' tag-team combo of Jack Swagger and Cesaro.
Swagger has been getting a huge push lately, and Cesaro has emerged as a big-time power player with huge potential in the promotion.
Also on the card, Sheamus defeated Alberto Del Rio, but only because Christian interfered with the match.
Due to Christian's interference, Sheamus earned the victory via disqualification.
The divas took to the ring next, as AJ Lee defeated Cameron.
In the main event of the Feb. 25 episode of WWE Smackdown, Daniel Bryan and The Usos defeated a three-man tag team of Kane and the New Age Outlaws.
The episode also featured a couple interesting promos, as The Shield appeared on the big screen to discuss how they needed to regroup and The Wyatt Family did a cameo discussing their new feud with John Cena.
