For any PS4 or Xbox One game, visuals are one of the first things people want to know about. Resolution and frame rate are part of that, but the actual look of the game is very important to gamers in this new-generation of gaming. For WWE 2K15, visuals have been stepped up in a big way.

This year's cover is featuring WWE superstar John Cena, and really, there is no one better to be featured on this year's cover than him. In an exclusive interview with Examiner.com, John Cena spoke to us about gracing this year's cover and some of what he's seen from the game thus far.

"Obviously, being on the cover is a little bit more responsibility than just a photo. I want to know what the developers are doing, and they literally came to me and said they wanted [WWE 2K15] on all gens, this is our first [new-gen] effort, and we want to make it authentic.

"They knocked graphics that out of the park. Whatever I would want them to do for me, even in my head, is totally [in the game]. We still have about a month, but I have some special touches I’m going to put on the game," Cena said.

Visuals are an enormously important part of any game, but 2K Games has put a major emphasis on them in WWE 2K15. The leap to PS4 and Xbox One opens up a new world of opportunity for the WWE 2K franchise, and fans will be surprised with what they see come October.

When you look at sports games that have stunning visuals, like NBA 2K14, it's the small, subtle nuances that really make the look of the game pop. Sure, it helps to have the big parts of a game look good, but often times, it's the small physics and elements that can make fans go, "wow, that's unbelievable."

We're pretty sure fans will have some of those moments when they get their hands on WWE 2K15 later this year. The PS4 and Xbox One will play host to the first new-generation installment of the WWE 2K series on Oct. 28. The game will also be available on PS3 and Xbox 360.
