The WWE almost has their entire “WWE Battleground” pay-per-view lineup set up and they added three new matches on the last episode of “WWE Smackdown.” According to Wrestle View on Saturday, two new title matches was added as well as a match between former Shield partners Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Here is a look at the updated “WWE Battleground” pay-per-view show.

The match between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose was not a surprise at all. After The Shield broke up, Ambrose forced his way into the Money in the Bank match for the briefcase that Rollins ended up winning. After Rollins won that, Ambrose dedicated his life to making sure that Rollins failed every time he tried to cash in the briefcase and has done so in spectacular fashion. The two will finally get their one-on-one match at “WWE Battleground.”

The two new title matches will see AJ Lee defend her recently re-won Divas Championship against Paige and The Usos will defend their tag team titles once against The Wyatt Family. Lee just won her title back two weeks ago, so this will be Paige’s rematch and the Wyatt Family beat the Usos in a non-title match, so this is one that they earned.

Some big news for “WWE Battleground” involves the battle royal to determine the new Intercontinental Champion. There have been rumors ever since the WWE unified the WWE and World championship belts into one title that they would do the same for the U.S. and Intercontinental titles. The breaking news about the Intercontinental title match is that U.S. Champion Sheamus has entered himself in the battle royal. If Sheamus wins the battle royal, will the WWE combine the two titles or eliminate the U.S. title completely?

The other matches for “WWE Battleground” include Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt and the four way for the WWE World Championship between John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Kane. “WWE Battleground” takes place on July 20 and is included in the WWE Network and also airs on various cable providers.
