Seth Rollins is the first name entered in the Money in the Bank ladder match to win a briefcase for a future title shot. Just as Randy Orton was placed in the world title ladder match without qualifying, Rollins didn’t have to qualify either. According to WWE.com on Sunday, this week’s “WWE Monday Night Raw” will see the rest of the combatants in the second ladder match announced.
Seth Rollins inclusion makes sense, as a reward from Triple H for turning on his partners in The Shield to help The Authority. With Rollins in the match, it would make sense that his former partner Dean Ambrose will also get in to continue their feud. However, outside of Ambrose, the rest of the combatants are a mystery. However, despite the mysteries, the WWE has plenty of contenders for the final spot.
The world title match has Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Cesaro, John Cena, Bray Wyatt and Sheamus fighting for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The briefcase ladder match has a good chance of seeing names like Bad News Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Kane, Bo Dallas and Big E as the most likely wrestlers to join Rollins and Ambrose in the match.
This week’s “WWE Monday Night Raw” episode will also see the outcome of last week’s angle where Stephanie McMahon was made violently ill due to spiked coffee. Vickie Guerrero is likely to be fired, which has been planned for awhile since she wants to start a new career in the medical business. Roman Reigns should also be dealt with as well. That should be the angle that opens this week’s show.
Also on tap is the new Cody Rhodes’ character of Stardust. The WWE rumors indicates that he will play this character from here out and the WWE is looking for a new name for the tag team of Goldust and Stardust. “WWE Monday Night Raw” airs at 8 p.m. EST on USA.
