Originally, Cody Rhodes and Goldust were scheduled to wrestle each other at "Wrestlemania 30," but after their tag team was so successful, those plans were in question. According to prowrestling.com on Feb. 1, the plan for them to fight might still be on and the "Elimination Chamber" pay-per-view is where that should start.
Rhodes and Goldust are expected to get a tag team title rematch at the "Elimination Chamber" pay-per-view and that is when the two are expected to finally have their split. With Goldust as a WWE legend who the fans have taken to, Cody Rhodes is expected to be the one to turn heel and betray his brother.
The two are then expected to wrestle at "Wrestlemania 30" and there is a chance the feud extends further than that. Originally, Goldust signed on with the WWE through "Wrestlemania 30" but his contract was extended to last through "Summerslam" in August.
This was well deserved because Goldust has come back looking better than ever. After years of alcohol and drug abuse, Goldust not only cleaned up but began to work out with the DDP Yoga exercise program that helped Jake "The Snake" Roberts turn his life around. Thanks to that, Goldust looks and moves better than he did when he was last in the WWE.
Now, the long anticipated brother vs. brother match looks like it will finally happen after a couple of years of teasing it on WWE television.
