There have been a lot of WWE rumors on who the Undertaker’s “Wrestlemania 30” opponent would be. According to prowrestling.com on Oct. 24, the name is the same one that was originally discussed – Brock Lesnar.
Word is that there were only really two men mentioned to fight Brock Lesnar at the big event. The Undertaker and The Rock were the only two really legitimate choices, although fans dream cast names like Daniel Bryan and CM Punk for the event.
The idea is that Lesnar and Undertaker will battle as long as Undertaker feels he is healthy enough for that kind of match. Fighting someone else could be an easier match for Undertaker, because Lesnar fights a more MMA-styled match since returning from the UFC.
However, this could also be a big moment for The Undertaker since he is a huge MMA fan and even used an MMA submission hold for awhile in his matches before changing back to the Tombstone.
This would also be the second year in a row that Undertaker battles one of Paul Heyman’s men, and that could be a big way to build to the match with Heyman saying that his big man Brock Lesnar could do what Punk never could – end the streak. This would allow the Heyman and Punk WWE feud to continue to build to “Wrestlemania 30.”
