WWE rumors: Undertaker remains questionable for Wrestlemania

The WWE has started the Road to Wrestlemania, and a number of matches have become clear but there is still one big one that hasn't been announced yet. According to rajah.com on Jan. 30, the WWE has not decided if they will bring the Undertaker back this year to continue his defense of his streak.

Originally, the rumors had CM Punk trying to end the Undertaker's streak at Wrestlemania 29, but now the WWE is considering other options for Punk. The reason for the concern is that the Undertaker's badly damaged hip remains a problem.

At Wrestlemania 28, Undertaker came in with the hip injury and fought Triple H in a brutal match that ended up causing further damage to the hip. While a match with CM Punk should not have the same intensity as the "end of an era" match with Triple H, the WWE wonders if he can put on a Wrestlemania quality match with the injured hip.

So far, the Wrestlemania 29 card has John Cena taking on the winner of The Rock vs. CM Punk Elimination Chamber match, which should end up being The Rock, and what looks to be a Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar re-match. Rumors also have Chris Jericho taking on Ryback and a possible Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton World Championship match.

However, Wrestlemania without the Undertaker seems strange, and the WWE is still waiting to see if he will be able to make the big show this year.
