When CM Punk walked out on the WWE on Monday night there have been a lot of WWE rumors flying around concerning what happened. According to PWS on Jan. 30, there appears to be some disagreement between Vince McMahon and Triple H about what to do about CM Punk.
The reasons for CM Punk quitting the WWE includes being burnt out, injured and discouraged about the direction of his character. Punk has been wrestling for almost 10 straight years in the WWE, only taking short periods off because of injuries. He took some time off last year after "Wrestlemania 29" but he has said it wasn't enough time off.
Now, with only six months left in his WWE contract, CM Punk wanted to main event one Wrestlemania before retiring and when he heard that Batista was getting the main event, the injuries and burnout boiled to the top and Punk chose to leave.
Now, WWE rumors have surfaced that Vince McMahon wants CM Punk back while Triple H has mixed feelings about the situation. The entire thought process of Triple H makes sense because CM Punk was supposed to fight Triple H at "Wrestlemania 30" in a rebel vs. authority storyline.
While it is understandable that a match with Triple H is not up to the level of the WWE World Championship, saying the authority storyline is not important is an insult to Steve Austin and Vince McMahon, whose feud overshadowed the world title for a couple of years.
It is said that Vince McMahon is now in control of the CM Punk situation in the WWE.
