WWE rumors: Top WWE star claiming CM Punk will return this week to 'Raw'

CM Punk walked out on the WWE the night after the "Royal Rumble" pay-per-view due to a number of reasons. According to PWS on March 2, a "top WWE star" claims that CM Punk is 100 percent set to return to "WWE Monday Night Raw" tomorrow night.

There are a lot of people who claimed the entire CM Punk walk out was staged as part of the storyline, but the fact is that Punk really walked out and was planning to quit the company. Reports indicate he was hurting and burnt out from years without a break. He also wanted his one chance to main event Wrestlemania, and with his contract expiring in July, this might have been his last chance.

Overall, he wanted to be in the main event at "Wrestlemania 30" and not fight Triple H.

PWS reported that Vince McMahon gave CM Punk a chance to "cool off" and once he had a chance to relax out of the spotlight, McMahon and Punk met up to iron out their differences. There is a chance they play this off like it was a work, which would make sense, but the fact is that Punk legitimately left.

Now, the question is what is next?

CM Punk did not want to wrestle Triple H at "Wrestlemania 30," and it looks like Daniel Bryan has moved into that spot. There was also the WWE rumors that the WWE World title match would end up as a three-way, and it looks like CM Punk might get his dream of main eventing Wrestlemania now.
