The word floating around the WWE rumors mill is that CM Punk has completely cut off any communication with the WWE. However, according to Wrestle View on April 3, Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't believe it and thinks a CM Punk return might happen at "Wrestlemania 30."
From all outlooks, it really seems that CM Punk is finished with the WWE as his contract ends in July and he seems to look much happier and relaxed in appearances since leaving the company.
However, Stone Cold Steve Austin shares something in common with CM Punk. Austin also walked out on the WWE when he became dissatisfied with the direction of his character in the company. It was a heated dispute that kept him out of the WWE for a long time.
Austin has always said it was one of his biggest regrets, walking out like he did in the middle of his contract.
As far as CM Punk is concerned, Austin said that he predicts that he has had time to cool off and get some rest and he thinks that the right thing for CM Punk to do would be to return to the WWE and finish his commitments.
Austin said he thinks that the CM Punk return could come at "Wrestlemania 30." He said he predicted it two months ago and still thinks it could happen. He said that a Punk run-in would put him right into the middle of what could be the hottest feud in the WWE. Steve Austin said he doesn't know if it will happen, but the world will know this Sunday.
