After Diamond Dallas Page released a video of WWE legend Scott Hall claiming he was close to death, Kevin Nash jumped to his friend's defense. PWInsider reported on Feb. 16 that Nash backed off on his attack and said things look good for his old friend.
As an update, Diamond Dallas Page used his yoga program to help recovering drug and alcohol addict Jake "The Snake" Roberts sober up and lose 60 pounds. Roberts now plans to resume his wrestling career for a farewell tour, allowing him to leave fans with a much better memory than his last time in the ring.
Sean Waltman called Page and asked if he could help Scott Hall, who has fallen into an alcoholic tailspin. Hall already no-showed one attempted start to work with Page, so Dallas and Roberts made one last phone call to try to get Hall to come in. Hall mentioned on the phone that he was a "dying man" but then came around at the end and agreed to show up to try to turn his life around.
Kevin Nash took offense to the fact that the phone call was made public and lashed out, saying his friend's life was not a PSA. However, now Nash has changed his tune. He said that he spoke to Dallas Page and the two are on the same page. He said Scott has pledged to head to Page's home in Atlanta and Nash feels that if anyone can turn Hall's life around it is Diamond Dallas Page.
Scott Hall is supposed to show up on Monday to start his work.
