WWE rumors: Kane preparing for retirement from professional wrestling

Kane has been in the WWE as an active competitor longer than almost anyone in the company, outside of The Undertaker and Triple H. According to Rajah.com on March 13, he is starting to plan on his retirement, although he may not be ready to hang up his boots yet.

Kane, whose real name is Glen Jacobs, just opened a new insurance company in Tennessee with his wife called “The Jacobs Agency.” The word backstage is that he has been telling his friends that he is planning on retiring soon and this is a step to start a career outside of the squared circle.

There is also the word that Kane might be entering the world of politics down the road. He is a member of the Libertarian party and might consider running for public office. There is a history here with Jesse “The Body” Ventura winning the election as the governor of Minnesota and both Bob Backlund and Jerry “The King” Lawler running for office as well.

Linda McMahon, the wife of Vince McMahon, also ran for Senate in the last two elections. Kane might have some problems because of controversial storylines he took part in during his WWE career, though.

According to sources, he plans to continue making big money from the WWE while he can still wrestle at a high level and doesn’t plan to walk away from that until he doesn’t believe he can continue at this rate.
