The thought that Hulk Hogan was close to signing to return to TNA Wrestling has evaporated and now it looks like a WWE return is more likely. According to Rajah on Oct. 26, Hulk Hogan is now allegedly training for a return in time for “Wrestlemania 30.”
The first ideas that Hulk Hogan was not coming back to TNA Wrestling came when his best friend, and business partner, Eric Bischoff was not in attendance at “Bound for Glory,” the company’s biggest PPV event of the year. He also was not at the “Impact Wrestling” taping and he is rumored to be gone from the company.
Now, TNA Wrestling seems to be planning more storylines that mirrors the WWE, from Dixie Carter channeling Stephanie McMahon in her character to the AJ Styles leaving with the TNA title very similar to CM Punk leaving with the WWE title a couple of years back.
It looks like Hogan might be finished with TNA Wrestling at this time, and since the WWE wants a big name for “Wrestlemania 30,” and both “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and The Rock seem to be out of the question, Hulk Hogan’s return might be in the works. There is also a chance Hogan could induct someone into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 if he returns, including either The Ultimate Warrior or “Macho Man” Randy Savage.
A source said that Hulk Hogan is training like a “mad man” and hopes to be available to actually wrestle in a match at “Wrestlemania 30.”
