When asked about his contract and chances of renewing it, Hogan declined to comment on the situation. However, there are sources who say that the contract is about to expire in a few weeks and there is no indication whether or not Hogan has worked out a new deal or not.
Hulk Hogan joined TNA Wrestling back in October 2009 and has worked as the general manager of the company ever since. He was a bad guy for a long time, but then turned good at the behest of Sting and has been the center of the battle with Bully Ray and the Aces & Eights faction.
Hogan's daughter Brooke Hogan also worked for TNA Wrestling, but she parted ways with the company last month. Hogan himself said that it was mostly due to Brooke getting married soon to a Dallas Cowboys football player.
Jeff Jarrett, the founder of TNA, was backstage last television tapings working as an agent, and he has not been in attendance for a show in a long time outside of random appearances to meet with talent.
A.J. Styles, one of the TNA originals, just signed a new extension to his contract but has no new deal on the table yet because TNA is trying to cut costs. One has to wonder if Hogan's immense contract might be expendable and if a WWE return might be in the future as he winds down his career?
