Hulk Hogan and the WWE are still in negotiations for the WWE Hall of Fame legend to appear at "Wrestlemania 30" in some role. According to PWInsider.com on Jan. 3, that role might be a tag team match that could include Rowdy Roddy Piper.
These new WWE rumors claim that Piper has actually approached the WWE about booking a tag team match with Hulk Hogan teaming up with John Cena to battle Rowdy Roddy Piper and a WWE heel in a match that could pay tribute to the very first "Wrestlemania" event.
In that first big show, Hulk Hogan teamed up with Mr. T to beat Roddy Piper and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orndorff. When the match ended, Piper and his bodyguard Cowboy Bob Orton beat down Orndorff until Hogan ran in to save him.
With this year's event being the 30th anniversary of that revolutionary and groundbreaking show, it could be a nice tribute to the match. Cena and the heel could spend most of the time in the ring to protect the older legends, and Hogan and Piper could get some time to relive one of the WWE's greatest feuds.
It could even end with the heel attacking Piper, with Cena and Hogan saving him to homage the first show's ending as well.
Other ideas for Hulk Hogan at "Wrestlemania 30" include a one-on-one legends match with Roddy Piper or even just Hogan being in the corner of John Cena for his WWE match.
