Diamond Dallas Page has helped both Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Scott Hall clean up their lives with his DDP Yoga plan. Since then, fans have asked about the 2014 “Royal Rumble” and on Dec. 4, Diamond Dallas Page offered his thoughts about the plans of his two friends.
First up, Page said fans shouldn’t get their hopes to high to see Scott Hall in the “Royal Rumble,” or for that matter to ever see him in a wrestling ring as an active wrestler again. Page said that Hall has taken a beating over his career and just got his new hip and is without pain for the first time in years. Because of that, Page said that Hall is smart and probably doesn’t want to risk his health again.
As for Roberts, The Snake has made it clear from the start that his goal was to return to the wrestling ring and finally go out in his own way. He has also said that he wants to take part in the 2014 “Royal Rumble,” so Page didn’t have to give much thought to whether or not Roberts would make the return if invited.
Page pointed out that Roberts is 58-years-old, while he himself is 57, but he feels Roberts would jump at the chance to be in the “Royal Rumble” and would go for 20 minutes if he could, even if he ended up crippled after the match. Page also said the pop from the crowd would be crazy if either man showed up.
