WWE superstar Chris Jericho did a recent radio interview with Konnan on MLW Radio and talked a bit about the changing of the guard in the WWE. According to rajah.com on Feb. 27, Jericho said that Triple H runs almost everything now.
Jericho said he began to realize how much Triple H was in charge when he negotiated his recent return to the WWE. He said, in the past, it was always Vince McMahon that Jericho spoke to and dealt with when it came to his deals. This time around he spoke completely to Triple H and not McMahon.
Long time fans might remember when Jericho first came to the WWE back in the '90s. There was all kinds of talk about a "glass ceiling" and men like Triple H and Shawn Michaels holding people down. Men like Jericho, Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero were always talking about how hard it was to move up the ladder thanks to people like Triple H.
Jericho said that has all changed. He said that they get along now and Jericho considers Triple H a friend. He also said that Triple H is the best choice to run the company and he is completely prepared for it.
Chris Jericho also said he doesn't think it will be long before Triple H completely takes over running the WWE and Vince McMahon will work mostly as a consultant after that.
