WWE rumors: Chris Jericho's future with the company

The WWE signed Chris Jericho to a new short-term contract, which lasts until Wrestlemania 29. According to rajah.com on Jan. 28, Jericho will resume his feud with Dolph Ziggler and eventually turn heal leading to Wrestlemania.

When Jericho last came back to the WWE, he was a bad guy who trolled the fans by coming to the ring as an excited returning star, only to not say anything and leave. He eventually broke his silence and ripped into the fans about their ability to act like sheep when a superstar snaps their fingers.

However, soon after his feud with a then-face CM Punk, he began to wander off course and somehow ended up as a face in the feud with Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler then beat Jericho in a loser gets fired match.

That was the last time Jericho was seen in the WWE.

Chris Jericho has been touring with his rock band Fozzy since then. Fozzy will tour Australia from Feb. 23-March 4 and then doesn't tour again until April 11 in the U.K. That means Jericho would miss two Raw episodes from here until Wrestlemania, but other than that he is supposed to be full time.

There is also rumors that he will not head into Wrestlemania feuding with Ziggler, and will turn heal when their feud ends. There is no telling where he goes from there, but rumors have him fighting Ryback at Wrestlemania.
