WWE rumors: Antonio Cesaro face turn coming soon

The rumored Antonio Cesaro WWE face turn is still in the works, despite nothing being done on it recently. According to PWS on Dec. 11, the WWE is trying to figure out what to do with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger first.

The idea to turn Cesaro into a face started when he began to get the crowd excited when he pulled out his classic Big Swing move, a maneuver where he would grab a person by their legs and spin them in circles numerous times, with the fans beginning to count along.

Cesaro has been using this move since his days in the indies, and in one match that ironically included Daniel Bryan, he swung a smaller wrestler almost 100 times.

The WWE has been using this move as a way for Cesaro to show how strong he is by having him swing men like Great Khali and the fans even get excited when he goes after their favorite wrestlers with the move, making the WWE feel he would make a great face.

Antonio Cesaro was pushed hard as a villain when he won the U.S. title and he put on great matches with just about anyone he got into the ring with, but like many wrestlers that were not WWE-home grown talent, he was de-pushed and has been languishing in the Real Americans tag team ever since. A WWE face turn might be just the thing he needs to re-ignite his WWE career.
