WWE Royal Rumble fallout: Vince McMahon to evaluate Paul Heyman on Raw

The WWE Royal Rumble saw The Rock beat CM Punk in the WWE Championship match to win the title. WrestleZone reported on Jan. 27 that Vince McMahon will now call out Paul Heyman on WWE Monday Night Raw to give him a performance review.

The Punk and Rock match originally ended when the lights went out and something happened to The Rock. When they came back on, The Rock was laid out and had been put through the announcer's table. All the while, Michael Cole was screaming that The Shield took him out.

Vince McMahon restarted the match and The Rock won the WWE Championship.

Heading into the WWE Royal Rumble pay per view, McMahon said he would strip Punk of the title if The Shield interfered, but instead restarted the match. Now, it looks like it is Paul Heyman that Vince will try to punish on WWE Monday Night Raw.

This could lead to a number of things.

First of all, McMahon could fire Paul Heyman, which makes little sense because he represents CM Punk and not the WWE. The second thing that could happen is that The Shield will come out and attack Vince McMahon, leading to a big match at the Elimination Chamber pay per view.

The more realistic thing could be Vince McMahon getting ready to fire Paul Heyman when Brock Lesnar's music hits and he comes out and lays into Vince. This would bring out Triple H and lead to the rumored Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar match at Wrestlemania.

WWE Monday Night Raw airs at 8 p.m. EST on USA.
