The Royal Rumble 2014 is in the books. There were a lot of surprising results all around but it was a fun show. Yours truly did live results in a room full of friends and casual fans that was a great amount of entertainment. Here are the results.

In the opening online Kickoff match, The New Age Outlaws (The Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) beat WWE Tag Team Champions Goldust & Cody Rhodes to win the Championships.

In the opening match of the pay per view, Bray Wyatt pinned Daniel Bryan after hitting Sister Abigail.

That was not the finish I was expecting put it was a fun, brutal, hard-hitting match.

Brock Lesnar beat The Big Show.

It was a hard-hitting, quick, brutal affair. It did a great job of making Lesnar looking like a beast again.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton pinned John Cena thanks interference from The Wyatt Family.

There was some good typical WWE main event level near falls and finisher tradeoffs that made it an enjoyable match. The crowd already turned on things during the bout with Daniel Bryan and boring chants throughout.

Batista won the Royal Rumble match, last eliminating Roman Reigns.

The crowd completely turned on things once Rey Mysterio came out at #30 and it wasn’t Daniel Bryan.
