Two time WWE Hall of Famer 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair is expected to appear on WWE RAW's 20th Anniversary episode live next Monday January 14th in Houston. Flair will once again face-off with the controversial WWE Champion CM Punk.
According to several reputable sources including F4WOnline, Flair and Punk will trade words following Punk's disparaging comments about several wrestling legends which he made on this past Monday's episode of RAW.
This week's episode of RAW was an intense affair with Punk trading verbal bombs with his upconming Royal Rumble challenger Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson. Read a full review of RAW here and find out who Pro Wrestling Examiner thinks won the first round in this 'war of words'.
Flair and Punk recently had chemistry when Flair made surprise return to WWE at the 2012 Slammy Awards which took place on RAW in December. The segment featured Flair presenting the Superstar of the Year award which CM Punk was nominated for, but was won by John Cena via a fan-driven vote.
Punk lost it and hit the podium where he berated the fans for not rightfully voting for him, after he held the WWE Championship the entire year. Punk then went after Flair in a memorable argument which ended with both men in the ring and several other WWE superstars getting involved. The segment was one of the highest rated TV segments for WWE in month of December. You can relive that confrontation between the Nature Boy and the Straigt Edge Superstar in the video posted with this article.
