In one of the more head-scratching moves made by WWE recently, Kevin Nash was "released" today. The release today was announced via the standard announcement that is regularly posted on WWE.COM when a Superstar is let go by the company, yet many observers speculate this is a part of the current storyline involving Nash, WWE COO Triple H, and CM Punk. This also continues the scene that played out this week on RAW, where Triple H fired Nash. You can watch that segment from RAW in the video posted on the left.
Big Main event announced for WWE Smackdown this week
The Rock advertised for a "return to the ring" at Survivor Series 2011
Nash who resigned with WWE late last year and made a surprise appearence during the Royal Rumble, has been appearing on RAW recently challenging both Punk and his former friend, Triple H. Nash cost CM Punk the WWE Championship when he rushed the ring at Summerslam, and powerbombed him allowing Alberto Del Rio to cash in. Nash and CM Punk were signed for a one-on-one match at the upcoming Night of Champions on September 18th, only to have match changed amid rumors of Nash having a medical issue or an engagement for a film. Triple H and CM Punk are currently slated to face off at Night of Champions with Triple H putting his job as WWE boss on the line.
Nash's WWE comback on RAW has gotten mixed reviews by most fans and critics. What have you thought of Kevin Nash since he returned to WWE? Post your comments below in the comment box at the bottom of the page or tweet your thoughts to @Kevkellam
