Chris Jericho returned to the WWE on Sunday as an entrant in the Royal Rumble much to the surprise and delight of nearly everyone in attendance. In a Rumble that featured little in the way of surprises and a couple of "surprise" entrants that never materialized (Shelton Benjamin/Carlito) keeping Jericho out of sight was a major undertaking. According to sources the WWE kept Jericho hidden in bus outside the arena until it was time for him to enter the arena.
Jericho has signed to work for the WWE until and possibly shortly after WrestleMania 29 and from videos being shown it appears he will resume his program with Dolph Ziggler possibly leading to the two facing each other at WrestleMania with the WWE World Championship on the line.
Brock Lesnar has reportedly extended his deal with the WWE for two more years and is expected to be utilized more after WrestleMania. Lesnar had been under contract until WrestleMania 29 where he is expected to wrestle Triple H once again. Where Lesnar is headed after WrestleMania is anyone's guess but chances are good Lesnar will wear one of the WWE titles before long.
