The WWE Raw schedule 2013 will bring the live television show to Roanoke, Virginia on the night of Monday, May 9. While there's no confirmation of what matches will take place, which superstars will appear, or who in fact will be the champions at that time, there is confirmation of when Raw tickets go on sale for the event.
According to PW Torch on March 2, various major stars in WWE are scheduled to be part of the Road to WrestleMania in order to build up current feuds heading into the major wrestling Pay-Per-View. Among the names on the schedule which goes from March 4 through April 9 are Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, Triple H, The Rock, and John Cena.
It's unknown if any of these names will be a part of the upcoming show in Roanoke, although the Civic Center website indicates Cena is scheduled to compete along with Sheamus and Ryback in a six man tag match against The Shield. Other names the Civic Center site has listed include CM Punk, Randy Orton, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio and Daniel Bryan.
The Roanoke Civic Center Facebook page made an announcement on Feb. 26 regarding the arrival of WWE Raw at the arena:
"SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT! WWE presents Monday Night RAW is coming to the Roanoke Civic Center on May 6! Tickets start at $17 and will go on sale Saturday, March 9 at 10 am."
As of this report, there's been no indication of any special pre-sale of tickets for the event, although this could arrive sometime in the coming week. More information is available at the Roanoke Civic Center website.
