WWE RAW: Brock Lesnar gets busted open and injured in a wild brawl with Triple H

Tonight on WWE RAW, former WWE and UFC Heayvweight Champion Brock Lesnar suffered a deep laceration when his head struck a ring post during a wild unadvertised brawl with WWE superstar Triple H. According to PWINSIDER, Lesnar received medical attention quickly when he made his way backstage and had 12 staples put in his head to seal the cut at the Amercian Airlines Arena in Dallas, TX.

Lesnar and Tripl H's brawl came out of nowhere as Lesnar hit the ring to attack WWE boss Mr. McMahon who was himself in a 'fight' with Lesnar's associate Paul Heyman. McMahon was already vulnerable in the fight, holding a crutch after going through hip surgery two weeks ago. Last month Lesnar laid out McMahon with an F5 (watch the attack here).

Triple H hit the ring to save his father-in-law McMahon, and an impromptu fight broke out between Lesnar and the Game. The Texas fans were hot for the show-opening battle.

These two heavyweights did battle throughout 2012 with Lesnar 'breaking' Triple H's arm twice, and luring the WWE Cheif Operating Officer out of his corporate suit for a return to the ring at Summerslam. Lesnar came out on top in the Pay Per View match, forcing Triple H to submit to his Kumura arm lock.

It's all but confirmed but Lesnar vs. Triple H at Wrestlemania 29 on April 7th is going to be reality. This grudge match will join a card which will also expected have John Cena vs. The Rock for the WWE Championship at the sold-out MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Pro Wrestling Examiner's Prospective:

This whole scene played out predictably except for Lesnar's nasty cut which appeared to not be part of the plan in this performance. Triple H and Lesnar exuded viking-like rage in this fight, and after not seeing them interact since August it clicked right away with the live crowd in Dallas. It apparently worked on Social Media, as a lot internet fans who were saying "No" to the rumor Lesnar/Triple H match are now saying "yes". Right now, this Examiner says "Yes" just as long as they do a better job than their mediocre Summerslam match.
