During taping of 'WWE Superstars' on Monday night, Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion in his match with Ryback. WWE has updated fans, stating that Ziggler has had his ImPACT testing, which is standard procedure following any concussion. WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann had the following to say:
"Dolph was evaluated by a neuropsychologist today and he had ImPACT testing performed as well as balance testing. Fortunately all of those tests appear to be equivocal to baseline and within normal limits. His symptoms have improved significantly since the injury on Monday, so our plan right now is to have him continue to rest, and when he is asymptomatic have him start doing some light cardiovascular exercise, and if that goes OK, we will proceed with our exertional protocol."
There is no word as to when Ziggler will be back in the ring. This is his second concussion within a year's time, with the first coming from a kick to the head by Alberto Del Rio. That concussion was shortly after Ziggler won the World Heavyweight Championship.
