WWE PPV: How the Punk vs Rock SHOULD play out for WM.

Tonight the WWE presents the first of 4 of it's "Main Attraction" PPV's, The Royal Rumble on PPV. After months of hype, former WWF/E Champion and movie star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will face off against WWE Champion CM Punk for the title that Johnson has claimed "has been waiting 7 years to hold". The end result of this match will have major storyline implications for the April PPV attraction, Wrestlemania.

The way most, if not all, fans view the match will be that The Rock will defeat CM Punk for the title to lead a "Rock vs Cena II" matchup at WM29. How it SHOULD play out to better the PPV in my eyes and storylines is in the following:

The way that would play out if "I was booker" would be for the long awaited heel turn of John Cena to distract The Rock and cause Punk to win, setting up the Cena/Rock rematch without the title up for grabs, just retribution for his loss at last years event.Or even better yet, is a return of Paul Heymans' boy Brock Lesnar to attack The Rock and a indirect hit by Cenas' finisher connecting on The Rock to cause the win for Punk.

This would allow for Punk on Raw Monday to announce his streak is intact and that he has beaten everyone and extend his streak. Thus, The Undertaker makes his WWE return to set up the championship match at WM29 of "Streak vs Streak". Plus pair in a "Elimination Chamber" match at the forementioned PPV of Punk vs The Sheild vs Ryback vs The Rock or sub Cena in for Ryback.
