WWE news: Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger respond to Glenn Beck

There is a current wrestling angle in the WWE involving Jack Swagger and his manager Zeb Colter. Political talk show host Glenn Beck has spoken out against the angle, calling the men "stupid wrestling people." The WWE released a video on Feb. 22, featuring a challenge for Glenn Beck.

The angle has the men talking about how illegal immigration is ruining the country. The entire purpose of the angle is to position them in a feud with current world champion Alberto Del Rio.

The video is well done, starting with a promo where Colter talks about their platform as Jack Swagger stands behind him, throwing in one-word responses. However, in the middle of the video the background flickers off and a green screen is shown.

Colter then breaks character and starts talking directly to Glenn Beck. He introduces himself by name and also introduces Jake Hagar, the man who plays Jack Swagger. He then, in simple terms,l explains what professional wrestling is.

He tells Beck that wrestling is just like any other TV show, with good guys and bad guys telling a story based on topical themes and ideas. He then said that when Beck called "wrestling people" stupid, he was also insulting the millions of fans that watch wrestling every week.

The WWE then offered Glenn Beck a chance to come on their show Monday night and promised him five minutes to deliver a rebuttal. The men then clicked back into character and finished the promo they began at the start.

Will Glenn Beck appear on "WWE Monday Night Raw" or will he just remain in the safety of his own studio as he insults the WWE and their fans?
