WWE news: Zack Ryder launches a new YouTube show

In 2011, Zack Ryder was trying to find his place in the WWE and decided to take hit career into his own hands and he started a YouTube show that made him one of the most popular WWE stars on the Internet. Three years later, Zack Ryder started a brand new YouTube show on March 10 and said they this may be his last chance to turn himself into a star in the WWE.

Ryder debuted in 2007 one of the Edge Heads, a tag team that helped protect WWE superstar Edge. He went on to be a regular talent on the WWE ECW television show. In 2011, Ryder started his first YouTube show called “Z: True Long Island Story.” The show, within a couple of months made him a star.

Ryder was suddenly selling more merchandise than almost anyone in the WWE and fans were bringing signs to arenas asking to see more Zack Ryder on television. He was finally moved into a bigger spot when he won the U.S. Championship. However, after getting buried in the middle of a feud between John Cena and Kane, Ryder was forgotten again.

To make things worse, the WWE convinced him to move his YouTube show to the WWE YouTube channel and then quickly made editorial changes, which killed Ryder’s hard work.

The new show that kicked off today is called “Zack Ryder’s Last ReZort” and Ryder says in the first episode that this will be either his evolution into a main event star or the end of the road for him. It will be interesting to see if Ryder can indeed catch lightning in a bottle for a second time.
