One thing that WWE fans heard a lot on the “WWE Monday Night Raw” telecast this week was the name Xavier Woods. JBL said it over and over, while talking about the Big Show contract petition. According to PWS on Oct. 15, that is because the WWE wants to get the NXT star brought up to the big show in some way.
Xavier Woods is former TNA Impact Wrestling star Consequences Creed.
The angle used on “Raw” this week had Xavier as the man responsible for the petition that people were signing to get Big Show re-hired after Stephanie McMahon fired him last week. Names like Daniel Bryan, the Bella Twins and John Cena have already signed the petition.
When the “Raw” announce team mentioned that Xavier was the man who started the petition, JBL was incredulous and wondered who Xavier was. He, of course, knows exactly who Xavier Woods is since JBL is the new general manager of NXT, where Xavier wrestles.
This should lead to some sort of feud between GM JBL and Xavier on the NXT shows and the WWE hopes to bring him up to the main roster soon. Woods has a master’s degree and is working on his doctorate and the WWE feels that he can be a PR asset to the company.
