WWE Chairman Vince McMahon missed the main event of last night's Wrestlemania 30 according to Wrestlezone, so that he could go with the Undertaker in ambulance ride to a nearby hospital. The main event was a triple threat for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship with underdog Daniel Bryan defeating champ Randy Orton and Batista to win the title after chasing it for the better part of the last year.
As was reported here earlier today at Examiner.com, the Undertaker suffered a major defeat at WM30 with former UFC and WWE champion Brock Lesnar ending his legendary 21 consecutive Wrestlemania streak of victories. The Deadman reportedly suffered a concussion or neck injury during the match.
In McMahon's absence, the final stage of WM30 was managed behind the scenes with executives Stephanie McMahon and Triple H taking the reigns even with their in-ring interference angle that played out in the triple threat match.
Pro Wrestling Examiner's Perspective: As someone who covers WWE consistently for the past few years online and on the radio, this Examiner can not recall of a time when the master and creator of the WWE joined one of his superstars on a concerning trip to a hospital. That is not a shot at McMahon or anyone involved, but it shows the longstanding bond between Undertaker and the boss. It's still intriguing to speculate about the Undertaker's future while the wrestling world tries to realize that 'the streak' is done.
