The Ultimate Warrior had been at odds with the WWE for many years, both sides filing lawsuits and injunctions and both sides saying derogatory things about the other. However, they are now back on the same page again and PWS reported on Jan. 22 that the timeline of events leading to Ultimate Warrior's new WWE deal was just revealed.
Of course, the first updates that the WWE and The Ultimate Warrior were working together again was when he agreed to help promote the WWE 2K14 video game. After the agreement between the two parties was reached, Triple H met up with The Ultimate Warrior at the presser announcing the new video game.
The two sat down and discussed the past problems and started the road to recovery.
The next big moment came at "Summerslam" when The Ultimate Warrior and Vince McMahon met face-to-face for the first time in years. There was a lot of bad blood, from The Ultimate Warrior accusing the WWE of cheating him out of money and suing them to the WWE releasing a hatchet job documentary, tearing down The Ultimate Warrior.
The meeting was supposed to last 30 minutes but went on for several hours as the two worked out their issues and got back on the same page again. Thanks to the meetings with Triple H and Vince McMahon, the WWE reached out to The Ultimate Warrior about the WWE Hall of Fame induction.
Things finally worked out in December 2013, meaning it was about four months of meetings and negotiations for the WWE and The Ultimate Warrior to reach their agreement/
