The WWE announced that Trish Stratus is the newest member of the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame class. The announcement came on WWE Monday Night Raw on Jan. 28.
Stratus joins hardcore legend Mick Foley and former WWF World Champion Bob Backlund as the inductees announced so far.
Trish Stratus came to the WWE originally in 2000 as the heal manager of Test and Prince Albert (Tensai). She also managed Val Venis for a short time. It was during this time that Trish began her career-long feud with Lita, while Lita was working with the Hardy Boyz.
Also at this time, Stratus began a controversial relationship with Vince McMahon.
However, Stratus was not meant to be a manager in the WWE, or a joke at the side of McMahon. What she was meant to be was a Women's Champion. She started wrestling in 2001 and then won her first Women's Championship at the Survivor Series 2001.
Over her career, Stratus held the WWE Women's Championship seven times. She also won the Diva of the Decade for the 2000s. Now, Trish Stratus can add her name to the WWE Hall of Fame inductees.
