The WWE announced that there will be a tag team title match at "Night of Champions" on Sunday.According to Rajah on Sept. 9, there will be a "tag team turmoil" match on the PPV pre-show to determine the challengers.
Originally the WWE tag team championship match was supposed to see Mark Henry and Big Show challenge The Shield for the title. However, Henry's recent injury and Big Show being thrown into the Daniel Bryan storyline has ended those plans.
Instead, the following teams will get a chance to face The Shield for the tag team titles on the "Night of Champions" pay-per-view: Tons of Funk, 3MB, The Real Americans, The Prime Time Players and The Usos.
Good money on this match sees The Prime Time Players winning this battle and getting the title shot. Ever since Darren Young came out of the closet publicly on TMZ, the Prime Time Players have been pushed hard. They just suffered their first loss last week, but have won a ton of matches, beating almost everyone crossing their path.
The Usos received the last title shot, losing to The Shield. The Real Americans have been losing to just about everyone lately and both Tons of Funk and 3MB haven't been serious contenders in months.
