The biggest moment on “WWE Monday Night Raw” this week featured Shawn Michaels calling out Daniel Bryan in order to apologize for screwing him over. It ended with Bryan locking Shawn in the Yes Lock until officials saved him. According to PWS on Oct. 29, Michaels said he might be sticking around the WWE for awhile.
The revelation came on Twitter, where Shawn has been facing a barrage of Twitter followers who don’t understand that the WWE is scripted television and have been personally attacking Shawn for turning on Daniel Bryan at “Hell in a Cell.” However, this latest question was more friendly towards the Heartbreak Kid.
A Twitter follower asked Shawn if he was hanging around for awhile after the incident on “WWE Monday Night Raw,” followed with a comment that their fingers were crossed. Shawn responded that we shall see and that it has been discussed.
This is great news because Shawn Michaels cut a solid promo in front of an angry Daniel Bryan, and actually went full heel at the end when he exclaimed that he is an A+ superstar and a legend and Bryan needed to show him respect, despite kicking him in the face the night before.
Bryan answered by shaking Michaels’ hand and then slapping on the Yes Lock and making Shawn tap out. Even after officials saved Shawn, the fans began chanting “you tapped out” proving that Bryan was so over that fans would turn on Shawn Michaels, someone who is almost untouchable in the hearts of most fans. Seeing Shawn Michaels and Daniel Bryan share some more ring time in the WWE would be very welcome.
