Last week, Diamond Dallas Page posted a video online of him calling Scott Hall to offer him help. Page temporarily removed the video at Hall's request, but rajah.com reported on Feb. 21 that a Scott Hall statement now precedes the video, which is back online.
The original video showed Page and Jake "The Snake" Roberts calling Scott Hall to offer him help with his alcoholism problems and try to aid him in getting his life back together. Hall said he drank vodka for breakfast and was a "dying man." He then finally agreed to come to Atlanta to try to get his life back on track, with Page's help.
Hall's best friend Kevin Nash came out publicly about the video being used as a "PSA" and ripped into the way that Hall's life was being made public again. Nash and Page have since made up, and when Hall heard about the phone call and video, he asked for it to be taken down because he didn't even remember talking to the men.
Hall showed up in Atlanta on Monday to start working with Dallas Page and watched the video. Then, Page recorded a Scott Hall statement, where Hall said he doesn't recommend this type of behavior, but he approves the message. That statement now plays before the video of the telephone call.
This is a start to, hopefully, the rehabilitation of Scott Hall. While he still has a long ways to go, if Dallas Page can do for Scott what he did for Jake Roberts, he might indeed be a miracle worker.
