Right now, Ryback is involved in a big WWE feud with CM Punk as he stands by the side of Paul Heyman. As the latest “Paul Heyman Guy,” Ryback might be in for a push after the CM Punk feud ends, and prowrestling.com reported on Oct. 4 that Ryback has said he wants to beat Goldberg and end The Undertaker’s streak.
These aren’t just pipe dreams either as far as Ryback is concerned.
First off, for The Undertaker, Ryback claims that is his dream match – to face the Dead Man at Wrestlemania. According to Ryback, The Undertaker actually took him aside at Wrestlemania last year and talked to him about it. Actually, Undertaker just said he heard that Ryback wanted to face him at Wrestlemania and Ryback said he did.
However, he said he has absolutely no ego and will do anything that the WWE asks him. He said he would love to end the streak, but just having the match at Wrestlemania would be his dream match.
As for Goldberg, that comes about thanks to fans constantly chanting “Goldberg” when he is wrestling. He blames this on WWE.com, saying they had an article comparing the two of them and the chants started the next week. He said that he thinks that Ryback vs. Goldberg would make a lot of money and that the WWE will want to bring him in for the match.
Ryback also said that he would beat Goldberg in that match.
Is a WWE match between Ryback and Goldberg something you would want to see? Would you want to see Ryback end Undertaker’s streak? Chime in below with your comments.
