WWE news: New Ultimate Warrior DVD coming in April 2014

The WWE has decided to release a second DVD compilation for The Ultimate Warrior. According to Rajah on Dec. 10, the DVD and Blu-ray is set for an April release, which brings up more speculation that Ultimate Warrior might be bound for the WWE Hall of Fame.

The reason for this is that the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony takes place on April 6, 2014, so the release of the DVD would be set up with some great promotion by the company.

The WWE released a DVD of the Warrior once already but it was highly controversial. Titled “Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior,” the documentary traced the rise and fall of the Warrior and painted him as a destructive individual who burned all his bridges in the WWE. It resulted in a lawsuit by the Ultimate Warrior.

With The Ultimate Warrior and Vince McMahon burying the hatchet earlier this year, and Ultimate Warrior taking part in the WWE 2K14 video game, it is likely this one will be much more favorable to the former WWE Champion. There is also a good chance he will actually take part in the production of this one.

The Ultimate Warrior is one of a number of people rumored to be a part of the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame, along with Macho Man Randy Savage, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Dr. Death Steve Williams and Degeneration X.
