According to an Aug. 11 report from Cageside Seats, plenty of exciting action will go down tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw at the Moda Center in Portland, for the SummerSlam pay-per-view go home show. John Cena and Brock Lesnar are expected to confront each other tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw, to hype their SummerSlam main event clash. Also on tap, Hulk Hogan will be honored during a birthday celebration.

Since the Aug. 11 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is the final one before SummerSlam, the promotion will be pulling out all the stops to tie up the loose ends of the key storylines heading into next week's pay-per-view spectacular. The big news is Lesnar facing off with Cena for the first time since The Authority made their bout official for SummerSlam. Since Cena has been off filming a movie and Lesnar hasn't been on hand either, the feud hasn't been hyped much.

Tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw, Lesnar and Cena will try to cut an epic promo to get fans psyched to see them do battle next week at SummerSlam. Will it be too little, too late? Not necessarily. Cena and Lesnar have clashed twice before inside the WWE ring, so this match is nothing new. Fans already know they are getting the top babyface going toe-to-toe with the top heel. They don't need much to get excited for the bout.

Elsewhere on WWE Monday Night Raw in Portland, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash are expected to make cameo appearances to help celebrate Hogan's 61st birthday. Hall, Nash and Hogan were teammates in nWo in the late-90s, so this will be a reunion of sorts. Some other celebs might be making appearances to celebrate Hogan's life and career, and rumor has it that one of them could be Ric Flair.

In other matters, Stephanie McMahon is expected to go at it with Brie Bella one final time before SummerSlam. What will McMahon do to Bella tonight on WWE Monday Night Raw? That is anyone's guess, but it won't be pretty. McMahon and Bella closed out WWE Monday Night Raw the last two weeks, and their SummerSlam match is hotly anticipated due to their constant feuding.

Finally, WWE Universe will find out more about the SummerSlam matches between AJ Lee and Paige, as well as Chris Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt. Also, the WWE might use Monday Night Raw to announce which tag-teams will be taking part in the Fatal 4-Way match slated for SummerSlam. The Usos and Rybaxel are likely for the match. Monday Night Raw airs on Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. on the USA Network. As for SummerSlam, it goes down Aug. 18 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
