The WWE has stacked their “WWE Monday Night Raw” show for next week in preparation for the first “Monday Night Football” games of the 2014 NFL season. Other than two major matches that have been scheduled, the WWE invited the first openly gay football player to get drafted by an NFL team to come and speak his mind. According to Wrestle View on Tuesday, the WWE also announced that Jerry Springer will appear on the episode.

Jerry Springer will appear on “WWE Monday Night Raw” to address the Bella Twins situation. Over the past few weeks, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella have started a feud with each other thanks to the manipulations of Stephanie McMahon. On this past week’s “WWE Monday Night Raw,” Nikki Bella had a few segments where she accused Brie Bella of many dastardly things when they were growing up.

After this, Stephanie McMahon awarded Nikki Bella with a Divas title match and Brie Bella showed up and finally fought back. Overall, the entire feud has been hit and miss, with Nikki Bella a perfect heel but Brie Bella’s lack of acting talent really dragging the segments down. Jerry Springer has built a career out of train wreck, trash television, usually focusing on family drama, so this should be something to see.

Also invited to appear on the show is Michael Sam. The openly gay football player was recently waived by the St. Louis Rams and the WWE invited him to tell his story to the WWE audience. This has caused some controversy because the WWE has an openly gay athlete in Darren Young on the roster and never offered him the chance to tell his story, so it seems a little hypocritical to accuse the NFL of not giving someone a chance.
