Jake "The Snake" Roberts was the second WWE superstar to be announced for the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame class. However, he is the first to officially announce who will be inducting him into the Hall of Fame as PWInsider.com reported on Feb. 27 that Diamond Dallas Page will induct Jake into the WWE Hall of Fame.
This makes sense on more than one level.
The biggest thing here is that it was Diamond Dallas Page who helped Jake Roberts kick his alcohol and drug addictions and let him live in his house in Atlanta to keep him around positive people who helped him grow. He also used his DDP Yoga workout system to help Jake get back into better shape to feel better about himself.
Thanks to Dallas Page, Roberts was welcomed back to the WWE and will enter the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Without Page, Roberts wouldn't be here today.
However, that brings up another reason that Page is a perfect person to induct Jake Roberts. Page didn't break into wrestling until he was around 35 years old. He was working in a club and decided to try to break into professional wrestling and Jake "The Snake" Roberts was the veteran who took Page under his wing and gave him the advice that helped Page one day become a world champion.
Without Jake Roberts, there would be no Diamond Dallas Page and without Page, Jake "The Snake Roberts wouldn't be entering the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame.
Dallas Page will also be bringing his DDP Yoga system with him to New Orleans for the Hall of Fame weekend and putting on workshops at the Holiday Inn New Orleans Westbank for anyone wanting to try to turn their life around and get in better shape.
