This is interesting because Randy Orton himself suffered a concussion a couple of months back, causing his opponent in that match - Alberto Del Rio - to get a lot of heat backstage for the injury. There is no word on whether Orton, who is pushed in the main event title picture right now will face any heat.
Christian himself will be held out of action until he takes part in an in-ring excertional challenge later this week. WWE's Dr. Chris Amann said that Christian passed his ImPACT testing but was still suffering from fogginess and cloudiness.
Concussions are taken very seriously by the WWE right now, and former world champion Dolph Ziggler was pulled out of a title defense at the "Extreme Rules" pay-per-view after suffering one at the hands of Jack Swagger. Ziggler missed almost a full month of action after his concussion.
Dr. Amann said that, if Christian passes his in-ring tests, they will clear him to return to wrestle in the WWE. While he can't wrestle, there is still a chance he could return on next week's "WWE Monday Night Raw" when his former tag team partner Edge makes his return to promote the upcoming season of his show "Haven."
